Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure and considered one of the best skin anti-age treatments. It uses tiny sterilized needles that are causing micro- injuries to the skin. Possible skin reaction immediately after a treatment:
• Swelling
• Redness

Reaction is short-term and all symptoms should go away in few days.
Care tips after a treatment:
• Avoid sun for the first 2 weeks. Use sunscreen whenever you go outside, do not spend too long time out in the sun.
• Avoid infection – wast your hands before touching your face.
• Don’t put on makeup during first 24 – 48 hours after microneedling treatment.
• Avoid swimming pools, saunas, fitness centers, and in general – avoid excess sweating. You can come back to these activities after 72 hours have passed.
• Always stay hydrated – drink water.
• Do not use any skin products with active ingredients for the first 2-3 days after a treatment. Those normally includes exfoliants, retinols, and vitamin C. Don’t use glycolic acid or alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs).
• You can use cleansers, toners, or scrubs 2 – 3 days after microneedling treatment, but make sure that the ingredients won’t worsen side effects.
