Beauty by Anzelika is a private facial treatment and skincare practice in Copenhagen. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our website (beautybyanzelika.dk) or contact us through it.

What we collect and when
When you send us a message via the contact form
We collect your name, email address, and message. A consent log entry is created containing your name, email, IP address, and the timestamp of submission — but not the message text itself, which is delivered by email and not stored on our server.
When you order a gift card
We collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, chosen gift card amount, and an optional personal message to be printed on the card. Your IP address, consent timestamp, and a record of the order are stored in our database. A branded PDF gift card is generated and stored on our server for delivery and for our records.
When you visit our website
one.com, our hosting provider, records standard server access logs — including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We do not routinely access these logs; they are held by one.com under their standard hosting terms.
If reCAPTCHA v3 is active on a form, Google receives your IP address and browser information when you submit that form. This is used solely for spam detection.
Cookie preferences are stored in your browser and managed via the CookieYes consent banner that appears on your first visit.
When you book a treatment
Appointment bookings are handled by SimplyBook.me, an external booking platform. Their widget loads on our /book-now/ page from widget.simplybook.it. Any personal data you enter into the booking form is processed by SimplyBook.me under their own privacy policy. We receive a booking confirmation; we do not store booking details on our server.
Why we collect it
- Responding to contact-form messages — to reply to your enquiry. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Rate limiting and spam checks rely on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Processing gift-card orders — to generate your gift card, send confirmation, and enable invoicing. Legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b)), and legal obligation for financial record-keeping (Art. 6(1)(c), Danish Bookkeeping Act).
- Non-essential cookies — analytics and preference cookies are set only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) via the CookieYes banner.
- Spam protection — reCAPTCHA, honeypot, and rate limiting. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping our services secure (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Who we share data with
- one.com (Denmark) — our hosting provider. Server infrastructure and access logs.
- Google (reCAPTCHA v3) — spam protection on our forms, when reCAPTCHA is active. Google processes your IP address and browser data to determine whether a submission is from a human. Transfers to the US are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- SimplyBook.me (Lithuania, EU) — our booking platform. Only involved if you use the booking page.
- CookieYes (UK; EU–UK adequacy decision applies) — cookie consent management.
We do not sell your data to anyone.
International transfers
Most data processing takes place within the EU. The exception is Google (reCAPTCHA v3), which is based in the US. Transfers to Google are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has recognised as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data.

Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- Access — you can ask us what data we hold about you.
- Rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — you can ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention obligations such as bookkeeping records.
- Restriction — you can ask us to limit how we use your data while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability — you can request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — you can object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdrawal of consent — where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

How we protect your data
All traffic to this website is encrypted via HTTPS. Our admin area is protected by a non-standard login URL and two-factor authentication. Form submissions pass through layered spam checks — honeypot detection, timing analysis, IP rate limiting, and optional reCAPTCHA v3. Gift-card PDFs are stored in a server directory with direct web access blocked. We apply security updates regularly to WordPress and all plugins.
